Internal features include electronically controlled and heated front seats with separate lumbar support, heated rear seats, 12.3" Touchscreen Satellite Navigation and Media Centre with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Bluelink® connected car service with 3-year subscription.

The Ultimate Rear Wheel Drive is priced from £50,245 and builds on the Premium trim level with the addition of automatic flush fitting door handles, eco-leather seat trim, driver’s seat position memory function, relaxation front seats with ventilation function, sunroof with electric tilt and slide operation, blind spot view monitor, drivers head-up-display, surround view monitor, remote smart parking, parking collision avoidance assist and BOSE premium audio with 7 speakers and additional subwoofer.

It also features LED steering wheel lights that provide vehicle to driver interactions when carrying out a number of different functions such as voice recognition, reverse gear selection, charging status and vehicle welcome and goodbye. Customers choosing the Ultimate specification can also specify the option of digital side mirrors for an extra £995.

Four-wheel-drive versions cost an extra £3,500, adding another motor to drive the front axle and boosting power from 226bhp to 322bhp. All models feature the long range 77.4 kWh battery, with standard 800v charging system which provides 350kW ultra-fast charger compatibility and includes a standard battery heating system to optimised charge times in all conditions.

Pearl and metallic paint finishes are a £585 option, with matte finishes a £685.

Based on the same underpinnings as the IONIQ 5, the 6 comes with an identical 800v charging system with the ability to charge at speeds of up to 230kW. The 6 is also equipped with a battery heating system, that has been designed to deliver optimised charge times in all conditions. As with the IONIQ 5, customers will be able to enjoy a free one-year subscription to IONITY Premium package, through Hyundai’s Charge myHyundai programme.
