While car makers and buyers are scrambling to make sense of the government’s new EV grants, Leapmotor has launched its own discounts, offering £1,500 off the T03 and discounting the C10 by £3,750. This initiative makes Leapmotor the first car manufacturer in the UK to offer such a ‘grant’ since the government announced its own EV incentive scheme, which won’t kick in for consumers until next month.
Since the official announcement, car buyers have been left in a state of limbo — unsure of when or how to take advantage of the promised incentives. The initial information suggests the government scheme will be based on environmental scores, which is likely to rule out Chinese-built cars like the Leapmotor models.
By getting on the front foot, Leapmotor’s LEAP-GRANT programme will keep its models competitive even if they are not eligible for the official scheme. It also makes the T03 the most affordable electric car in the UK at £14,495, or £169 per month with a £169 deposit on a 0% APR Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deal. The Dacia Spring – its main rival – currently costs £14,995, and is also offering 0% on a PCP.
The bigger Leapmotor C10 family SUV falls to £32,750 with £3,750 grant applied, or on Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) at £319 per month and £319 deposit on 0% APR. Both Leapmotors are backed by a four-year warranty.

The LEAP-GRANT will be available across Leapmotor’s dealer network from today (18thJuly 2025).
