Chinese carmaker Zeekr has revealed its new 7GT electric saloon at the Brussels motor show, which is going on sale in European markets ahead of a later launch in the UK.
The company says that its sporty new car combines “pioneering Chinese technology with European design and soul”, which to be fair is much better that way round. Zeekr must be confident about its sleek new electric saloon, though, which it says has been “developed for the joy of driving”.

Zeekr is emphasising how the 7GT is set up for keen driving, with various modes that tinker about with the steering, suspension and throttle response for added sportiness or more comfort depending on your preferences.
The styling follows the same cues we’ve seen in Zeekr’s other cars so far, with a raccoon-style band of black around the front lights and a sleek minimalist look to the rest of the car.
We obviously haven’t be able to put any of those fun driving claims to the test yet, but the 7GT at least looks quick on paper. It’ll get from 0–62mph in a spritely 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 130mph.

The car is built around an 800V electric architecture, and will offer two battery sizes of 71kWh and 94kWh – Zeekr reckons it’ll charge from 10–80% in 13 minutes at up to 480kW if you can find a beast of a charger that’ll handle it, or looked at another way that’s 211 miles of extra range in 10 minutes.
More practically, the 7GT has a luggage capacity of 456 litres and room for five. We don’t know too much yet about the cabin, though one cool feature that Zeekr has already pointed out is the 35.5in augmented reality head up display that’s available for the driver. The giant central touchscreen infotainment display is also present and correct, and we’ve also spotted stereo speakers in the front headrests.

There will be three versions of the car available – Core RWD, Long Range RWD Launch Edition and Privilege AWD Launch Edition. We don’t know UK prices yet, but the Core RWD model is going on sale in European markets from €45,990, which works out at £39,912. The Long Range RWD model adds around £4,300 to that, and the top spec car will be sold from €57,490, or £49,893.
Zeekr is a posh brand owned by Chinese carmaker Geely, alongside the likes of Volvo and Lotus, with research and design facilities across both Sweden and China. The 7GT will be among the manufacturer’s first models in the UK – it's running a bit behind original plans to have seven new models on sale in the UK by early 2026. We’ve already had a drive of the 7X SUV though – read about that here.
Sporty looking rear end might have impacted practicality, but apparently you'll be having too much fun to care
