Ginny Buckley, the chief executive of Electrifying.com, an electric car advice site, said: “Our research shows most EV buyers aren’t concerned about where an electric car is made, and many would happily consider a Chinese brand. 

“Car buyers won’t stop buying EVs simply because the legislation has changed, and the answer to growing competition from China isn’t to slow down — it’s to build better products, attract more investment and stay in the race.”
