Pricing has been announced for the funky new Cupra Raval that Electrifying's Ginny Buckley got her first proper look of at the beginning of the month.
There will be two battery sizes on offer, a 37kWh LFP battery with around 186 miles of range, and a 52kWh NMC battery with up to 280 miles of range.
Ginny liked what she saw of the car when she went out to see the car for a first look, and she’s also driven a disguised final prototype version of the car. The boot is a bit smaller than the one in the Skoda Epiq, but she said it was fun to drive on her quick turn around the hills behind Barcelona.

The 37kWh in the entry level Origin trim with the lowest power output (115ps) will cost £23,785, which should put it between the Volkswagen ID.Polo and Skoda Epiq models that share its underpinnings.
It’ll be a £3k jump to the next model, the V1 car with the same battery but 135hp, and your first chance to get the bigger battery is in V1 trim with power boosted to a perky 210hp and a price tag to match at £29,995.
But take these numbers with a grain of salt – they could get cheaper in the coming weeks. Cupra has also taken the step of noting in its press release detailing the new prices that it has submitted an application for the Raval to be considered for the UK government’s electric car grant, so it’ll be a little while before we hear about that depending on whether they used a first class stamp or not.
