The relentless onslaught of new Chinese brands isn’t just limited to cars, you know – Geely has been busy launching a new van company in the UK called Farizon and it’s about to reveal its second van.
It’s not a new initiative for Geely, though, which has been knocking out Farizons over in China since 2016. The name of the company combines the words ‘far’, ‘horizon’ and ‘passion for mobility’, though I just made the last part up. And Geely is of course itself a new brand in the UK, launching a range of new SUVs towards the end of 2025 and into this year, the electric EX5 and plug-in hybrid Starray EM-i.

For now though we just have this teaser image of the front end of the van to enjoy – so we can confirm that the latest Farizon has headlights and an illuminated badge.
The new van from Farizon, which will be revealed at the upcoming Commercial Vehicle Show, is called the V7E. It’s said (by the people who make it) to offer “class-leading cargo capacity” on a “city optimised platform”, so one of these could be delivering your next bulk online purchase of AAA batteries.

The larger Ford Transit-rivalling Farizon SV is already on sale in the UK and starts from around £45k. That van comes with 67kWh and 83kWh battery options, which could give us an idea what will translate into the smaller V7E setup.
The V7E will go up against the likes of the Ford e-Transit Custom and Kia’s new PV5 Cargo that we're big fans of (did you see the new Crew version last week?), as well as the racy new Renault Trafic that's coming to the UK in early 2027, so it’ll have some stiff competition.
We should have more information on pricing, specs and exactly what the thing looks like after its reveal at the CV Show on 21 April.
