You might remember charge company MFG EV Power generously knocked 20p off its price per kWh over the summer as a little gift to us all.
The offer originally ran from July to September, but the company has announced that it has decided to continue the discounted rate.
The only catch is that you’ll need to use the company’s free MFG Connect app to start and pay for your charging session, but MFG is keen to point out that there’s no subscription or membership fee required to take advantage of the offer.

EV drivers using the app will pay 59p per kWh, but you just rock up and swipe your contactless card at the charger you’ll end up paying 79p/kWh.
MFG is the largest network in the UK when it comes to rapid and ultra-rapid chargers – it has over 3,000 plugs in the UK and all of them are the faster units. The company sits nearly 500 plugs clear of next rival Instavolt.
When you bring slower plugs into the mix MFG only sits 11th in the UK rankings of charge point networks.
The company says that it offers charging at nearly 300 Morrisons supermarkets across the country, as well as at a whole range of fast food adjacent locations, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to spend whatever money you’ve saved.
MFG says that it is spending lots of money to upgrade its network, with a target to have over 3,000 ultra-rapid chargers across 500 locations by 2030.
