Skoda has confirmed pricing and specs details for its new electric seven-seater, the Peaq.
There’s just the one 86kWh battery option available on the UK version of the car (European models get the opportunity of a smaller 59kWh), but it’ll come with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive flavours.
The entry level car will start from £51,890 on the road, with three trims available – SE L, Edition and Sportline. The Edition car will cost £55,130 (plus £2,100 for AWD), then the range topper will finish off proceedings at £58,280.

The SE L comes with a decent specification as standard – a 13.6in infotainment screen in vertical orientation is a first for Skoda says the Czech carmaker, and you also get an Android-based satnav, digital instrument panel and Qi 2 wireless charging as well as 19in alloys, an electric tailgate, heated seats front and rear, and a heated windscreen will get chucked in too.
The Edition car gets extra leather inside, matrix LED headlights, 360-degree parking cameras and automatic parking, while the Sportline upgrades to 20in alloys, a fancier interior, heated steering wheel and an upgraded ‘dynamic chassis control’ setup.

Optional extras will include massage seats, a Sonos sound system and a panoramic glass roof. Practicality-wise you’ve got 299 litres of space in the boot with all the seats up, which expands to a roomy 890 litres with the two back seats tipped down. Fold all the seats flat and you’ve got 2,075 litres and the benefit of a 37-litre frunk under the bonnet.
Skoda says that the car is rated at 390 miles of WLTP goodness from the battery, which is the largest that’s ever been squeezed into a Skoda. Appropriate for the largest Skoda that’s ever been squeezed into showrooms.

You can recharge the Peaq at 199kW on a suitably robust ultra-rapid charger, and Skoda says that’ll get you from 10–80% in 28 minutes. Of course, you won’t get a chance to do that until the car goes on sale in September 2026, with deliveries starting early in 2027.
