LEVC VN5 Review

Price: £38,500 - £44,000 (after grant, +VAT)

The PHEV van based on the world-famous taxi has a 'fare' number of attributes, but only makes sense for a very narrow niche of buyers.

Ginny Says

“I applaud LEVC for its brilliant taxi, which has made our cities cleaner and quieter by making cabs electric. It will be great when the diesel vans disappear from urban areas too, but I'm not sure the VN5 will be the van to convince businesses to make the switch.”

Tom Says

“Interesting one this, seeing as there are purpose-built, bigger and more useful electric vans out there, with quite a few more on the way. Plus, people won’t try and climb in the passenger seat and ask you to take them home.”

Yes, the VN5 uses the same basic mechanical bits as the hybrid London taxi.
