Alpine has announced pricing for its new A390 SUV (sorry – ‘electric sport fastback’), and the second model in the French sports car maker’s lineup will start from a heady £61,390.
Orders are set to open in early 2026 for the new car, with deliveries later in spring. We've driven the new A390, incidentally, in case you'd like to see how it goes.
There will be three trim levels available when the A390 goes on sale – GT, the limited run Premiere Edition (there will be just 390 of those) and the top spec GTS model. The GT will kick things off at £61k, but the Premiere Edition will be £65,390 and the GTS trim will cost £69,390.

All cars in the A390 range have an 89kWh battery, but the GT and Premiere Edition have to make do with a mere 400hp, for a 0–62mph time of 4.8 seconds, a 124mph top speed and 345 miles of WLTP range.
The GTS car has a bit of extra oomph thanks to its 470hp, which means it can get to 62mph in 3.9 seconds and has a 136mph top speed. That does mean a bit of a hit to range, though, with a WLTP figure of 312 miles.
The A390 features all-wheel drive as standard, with one motor on the front axle and two on the rear. Alpine says that the two rear motors mean that it can provide a more dynamic drive, sending power to the wheels with the most grip.

The new Alpine also features DC charging up to 190kW, for a 15–80% charge time of around 25 minutes. It comes with an AC charger of 11kW as standard, which can be boosted to 22kW if you tick the right options box, or comes with the Premiere Edition car. There’s a suitably length standard kit list even for the entry level GT car, as befits a £61k electric crossover.
Alpine has also announced that we will see the successor to its A110 sports car revealed by summer 2026 – the teaser campaign ahead of the reveal has begun in earnest, and we really don’t envy the job of Alpine trying to replace that car, especially with the addition of an electric powertrain. The old A110 is still on sale, and the new A390 joins the A290, a perky electric supermini that's marketed as a performance version of the Renault 5.
