Isuzu has confirmed pricing for its new, electric pick-up truck - the Isuzu D-Max EV.
Starting from £59,995 (excluding VAT) for the Extended Cab, and £60,995 for the Double Cab, the Isuzu D-Max gets a 66.9kWh lithium-ion NMC battery for a WLTP range of 163 miles.
Payload is up to 1.0-tonne, and towing capacity is up to 3.5-tonnes thanks to the combined 188bhp and 240lb ft coming from dual electric motors, giving the electric D-Max permanent all-wheel drive. It also retains impressive off-road ability, with clearance of 210mm and a wading depth of 600mm.

Charging is less impressive, though, with rapid charging speeds peaking at just 50kW for a 10-80% top-up in around 60 minutes.
Standard features remain much the same on the electric Isuzu D-Max as they are on the diesel version. Entry-level D-Max eDL40 model includes an 8-inch infotainment screen, digital driver display, heated front seats, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, six-speaker sound system, front and rear parking sensors and a Rough Terrain Mode. Stepping up to the eV-Cross spec costs an additional £2,000 and gets you a 9-inch infotainment screen, leather upholstery, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and an eight-speaker sound system.
As with all Isuzu models, the D-Max EV gets a 125,000 mile, five-year warranty including five years roadside assistance. Orders open at the end of this year, with deliveries of Isuzu's electric 4x4 pick-up due to start in February 2026.
