Vehicle to Load – this means you can use the car as a giant power bank to run electrical items. On some cars, it can only be low power items (like charging your laptop off a three-pin plug socket in the back of the car), but others can run up to 5 or 6kW, enough for something as powerful as a kettle or a fan heater. This usually involves you having to buy an adapter from whoever made your car that plugs into the external charging socket.
