Everrati has revealed its latest electric reworking of a classic – and this time its Ford’s famous Le Mans winning flagship, the GT40.

The GT40, which in standard form is worth up to £10m, uses Everrati’s electric powertrain, generating up to 800bhp and 800Nm of torque, coupled with a 62.5kWh battery. It is said to be capable of accelerating to 62mph in well under four seconds and on to a top speed of more than 125mph.

The electric powertrain swap is reversible, if the owner changes their mind.

The GT40’s interior has been developed in partnership with Bridge of Weir Leather using the brand’s unique lightweight leather for enhanced weight saving, while also being the world’s lowest carbon-intense leather.

Justin Lunny, founder and CEO of Everrati, said: “We’re delighted to be introducing our flagship, award-winning GT40 model to crowds at the renowned Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace this week. As we continue to expand both our global footprint and product portfolio, the GT40 is at the apex of our performance offering.”

Everrati’s model line-up also consists of electric versions of the Porsche 911 (964), Land Rover Series IIA, GT40 and Mercedes-Benz W113 SL ‘Pagoda’. The company designs, develops and builds its cars from a bespoke facility in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire.

The motor swap is reversible, should you want your V8 back
