Don't worry about plug compatibility – the Kilowatt Half Hour podcast is universal access and returns for another instalment. You don't even need to bring your own cables.
Join Vicky Parrott and Tom Barnard as they discuss the latest developments from the world of electric vehicles.
This week's topics include Vicky's first impressions from driving the new electric version of the Porsche Cayenne. "Quite interesting", says Vicky – she's a hard woman to impress. Though 1,156hp from the Turbo version of the car should do the trick. And she does say that she was blown away by the handling, which is high praise indeed.
At the other end of the scale Vicky teases us with her thoughts on the Renault Twingo, but can't tell us anything because it's under embargo. Except due to the magic of not writing this as soon as the podcast is published (ssh, don't tell anyone), you can actually go and read Vicky's thoughts on the teeny Renault here.
Then it's a whistle stop tour of the news with Tom, with new houses in the UK being required to fit solar panels and heat pumps as standard and a chat about the latest exciting development from MG's solid state battery department. Plus, is the Audi A2 about to return? (Spoiler alert – yes.)
Back on Tom's favourite turf he's got some amazing lease deals and used bargains that he's spotted around the place – fancy a £6k MG4? Plus Tom has done some maths and reckons that switching from petrol to a used EV will pay for the purchase of the car within a mere matter of years.
Then it's time for a dive into the Electrifying postbag, with the team answering the questions that listeners have emailed in or commented on YouTube. (And if you have a question or comment to be included in the KWHH postbag, incidentally, you can leave your comment on YouTube or send us an email to [email protected].)
As ever, the Kilowatt Half Hour is available to watch on YouTube (in fact you watch it below) and can be found in all the sensible places you get your podcasts – check out the links and subscribe.
