MG4 EV Urban… meets the people!

What happens when four EV newbies meet the new MG4 EV Urban? In this video, we hand the keys of the MG4 EV Urban to four drivers who’ve never experienced an electric car before: no preconceptions, no jargon, just honest first impressions.

With Nicola as their guide, they get behind the wheel, test out the tech, and discover what it’s really like to live with an EV for the very first time. The MG4 Urban is a cost-effective electric hatchback that rivals the BYD Dolphin Surf and Citroen e-C3 on price, while offering more space. It’s a solid family workhorse and represents excellent value for money.

Ginny Says

"I'm quietly impressed with the MG4 Urban. I went along and saw it while Tom was filming with it, and I can confirm that I fit in the boot! It’s a good practical car - and blimey with the finance deals MG is offering, it's great value!"

The MG4 EV has been around for a while, but a 2026 update has seen the price drop and the infotainment improve, so the MG remains a seriously good family EV

Ginny Says

"The MG4 looks great, and is even better in the metal. It's also efficient, has a useable driving range (particularly the MG4 Extended Range) and I like the fact you get physical buttons along with the touchscreen infotainment system."
