One of the world’s oldest car makers, Renault is the pride of France. It’s part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, builds a range of popular cars in Europe including the Clio and Captur, while Dacia is its value-for-money budget brand. Renault has been exploring electric cars for decades, launching its first full-production model, the Fluence, in 2010. Since then it has found great success with the Renault Zoe and has a range of plug-in hybrid models including the Captur. Renault also builds the quirky Twizy electric city car.
