Check out our massive list of every new electric car coming in 2026

Sam Burnett

24 Nov 2025

There's never been a better time to think about going electric, and it looks very much like 2026 is going to be a bumper year for new EVs arriving on the market.

Here’s a list of every upcoming car that we know about in 2026 – including some we've already driven – all the way from Alfa to Volvo. And don't think it's just huge SUVs, either – this will be the year that EVs finally got useful for everyone.

Alfa Romeo

Giulia

Price: £60,000 / Range: 500 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

The current Giulia’s been on sale for 10 years, so we’re definitely overdue a new one. The new saloon will feature an electric version for the first time – all part of Alfa’s Stellantis backed renaissance. But let's hope that Alfa can inject a bit of Latin passion into its EVs

Stelvio

Price: £65,000 / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Alfa’s flagship SUV is another ageing warhorse due an all-new model in 2026. Underbits will be shared with Jeep’s Wagoneer and the new Stelvio should manage up to around 400 miles of range

Alpine

A110 electric

Price: £65,000 / Range: 370 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Alpine hinted at an electric A110 ages ago with the E-ternité concept, but it’s been an e-ternité and we’ve had to wait for the all-new model. Alpine reckons this will drive better than the new electric Porsche Cayman, which is a bold statement to make. Especially when we've been waiting so long for either of the cars to appear on the market...

Audi

Q9

Price: £100,000 (est) / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

Is the Q7 a bit small for you? Audi’s range-topping new Q9 seven-seater will be the *ahem* practical option among the company’s ginormous SUV options. Expect prices to sail past £100k though, even if a 400-mile range will be on the table

A3 e-tron

Price: £40,000 / Range: 350 miles / On sale: Late 2026

This is the new Audi we know least about at the moment, though we don't expect to see it until late in the year – the entry level electric crossover has been spotted testing, and will be revealed at some point in 2026, possibly with some revived A3 e-tron badging. From testing photos there was some expectation that the elegantly swoopy car might take up the A2 badge again, but who knows what Audi's naming system is this week

Bentley

‘Luxury urban SUV’

Price: £150,000 (est) / Range: 375 miles / On sale: Late 2026

We’ve only seen it under a sheet so far, but Bentley’s new ‘baby’ SUV will still be huge at five metres long and shares its electric undercarriage with the new Porsche Cayenne Electric, so it should be good. It's going to sit beneath the Bentayga in the range, and we're assuming from the 'luxury urban' badge on the concept version that it will be squarely aimed at a plush ride and a decent on-road drive rather than trying to go off-road at the polo

BMW

iX3

Price: £59,000 / Range: 500 miles / On sale: Early 2026

The new iX3 is supposed to be a game changer for the whole BMW brand, and we really like what we’ve seen of the electric SUV so far. No one can argue with a mooted 500 miles of WLTP range, plus the 'Neue Klasse' design harks back to BMW's 1960s reinvention and looks great. So BMW has toned down the obnoxious styling and it's bringing innovative, efficient tech to the table. Most important car of the year? Ginny certainly thinks so – read her first look report below.

Read our BMW iX3 first look – how good will the iX3 be?

i3

Price: £45,000 / Range: 500 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

A new 3-Series is a big deal, this is a bread and butter model for BMW and for the first time it comes with a bit of electric-flavoured spread. That metaphor didn’t work, but the Neue Klasse-inspired 3 should work quite well. Not to be confused with the smaller, cooler, older i3

M3

Price: £100,000 / Range: 360 miles / On sale: Late 2026

The new electric version of the 3-Series will get a scorching M-badged version too. Fun to drive performance electric cars are few and far between, but if anyone can make it work, BMW can

Cupra

Raval

Price: £25,000 / Range: 270 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

There’s a lot to like about the Raval from what we've seen of it so far in concept form – it’s got all the personality that will be missing from the Volkswagen ID.Cross it shares its engineering with, but it’ll still be nicely put together and offer plenty of range. The car is named after a hipster neighbourhood in Barcelona, but don't let that put you off

You can read what Ginny thought about the concept car here

Dacia

Spring

Price: £15,000 / Range: 140 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Dacia’s likeable runabout has had some tweaks for 2026, with more power and improved battery tech but still with the low, low prices. The Spring is absolutely perfect for some light touch commuting

Denza

Z9 GT

Price: £75,000 / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Late 2026

BYD’s new posh sub-brand arrives with a fancy four-door saloon that looks sleek and will come with a PHEV or full electric option. If you like tech you’ll love showing this off to your friends

Ferrari

Elettrica

Price: £450,000 / Range: 330 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Ferrari’s first EV will be controversial, and we've only seen the batteries so far. The crossover-style sporty SUV shuns a V12 in favour of four e-motors pumping out over 1,000bhp. It won’t be cheap to juice up with a 122kWh battery, or buy with a rumoured £450k price

Firefly

Firefly EV

Price: £25,000 (tbc) / Range: 205 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Firefly is a new sub-brand from carmaker Nio, which is also coming to the UK at some point soon. It's getting hard to keep up with all these new Chinese brands (especially if you're an established European manufacturer... ) but the Firefly is fairly distinctive little thing and has lots to like about it on paper. Like the front and rear underseat storage, or the way that the front has been designed with a bench seat in case your parking space is too much of a squeeze. Those distinctive headlights might prove a bit polarising, but we're looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the Firefly and seeing how it stacks up against the competition.

Genesis

GV90

Price: £100,000 / Range: 350 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Genesis is looking to top out its range in 2026 with a sleek looking new six-seat SUV that will offer around 400 miles of range and go head to head with the likes of the new electric Range Rover and BMW X7

GV60 Magma

Price: £100,000 / Range: 250 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Hyundai’s posh sub-brand has developed itself a racy orange “alter ego”, and the GV60 will be the first Magma-badged car we see. Expect fast bits shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and a crazy price

Geely

EX2

Price: £20,000 / Range: 255 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Volvo/Polestar/Lotus owner Geely is adding to its burgeoning own brand range of cars (it’s aiming for a Tesco Finest sort of vibe, but we’ll see) in the UK with this new small crossover, the EX2. The car might be new to us, but it’s actually the second bestselling EV in the world in 2025 thanks to its strong sales in China. Can it replicate that success in the UK? Aim high little one

Honda

0 SUV

Price: £45,000 / Range: 300 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Honda promised it was taking the EV back to 0 with this SUV concept that’s going into production in 2026. That’s car speak for starting from scratch, but we’re promised exciting tech to match the exciting looks. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this is the first production car to actually look like the concept...

0 Saloon

Price: £60,000 / Range: 300 miles / On sale: Late 2026

The second of Honda’s reset launches in 2026. Does the concept car look like a portable car vacuum? Sure, but nothing else on the market does, and that’s what will set the four door 0 Saloon apart

Hyundai

Ioniq 3

Price: From £33,000 / Range: 380 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

The new Ioniq 3 is as good looking as we’ve come to expect from recent Hyundais. It looks like the old Veloster, but hopefully it’ll sell more. This will be Hyundai’s most accessible EV yet…

Read our first look at the new Ioniq 3 here

Ioniq 6 N

Price: From £70,000 / Range: 291 miles / On sale: Early 2026

The fast 5 was an absolute riot, now the Ioniq 6 saloon gets the bonkers N treatment. We like the refreshed look of the 6, and N has given it a thorough going over – 0–62mph in 3.2 seconds! And 650hp for £70k might be offer some of the best bang for your buck in the performance EV market. Especially when you consider it's got all the fun stuff from the 5 N in there.

Read our Ioniq 6 N preview (or watch the video below)

Jaguar

Type 00

Price: From £100,000 / Range: 478 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Is there a car that people will be looking forward to seeing more than this one? It’s the concept that broke the internet, but more than TikTok viewers Jaguar needs its customers to like the Porsche Taycan rivalling electric four-door saloon. How much of the concept car's pink and baby blue exuberance will make it through to the production version? It all depends whether Jag is still feeling brave after all that fuss

See what Ginny thought of the Jaguar Type 00 concept

Kia

EV2

Price: £25,000 / Range: 270 miles / On sale: Early 2026

We’ve only seen the EV2 in concept form so far, but we’re loving it so far. The small electric hatchback will take Kia’s proven engineering and wrap it in a teeny but practical and fun body. What’s not to like? Let's just hope that Kia's designers will keep that useful interior and the bold styling when it comes to putting the car on sale. Its rivals will include cars like the Skoda Epiq, Hyundai Inster, Renault 5 and Citroen e-C3.

Read our first look of Kia's EV2 concept car

PV5 WAV

Price: £38,000 (est) / Range: 250 miles / On sale: Late 2026

It’s not a car that anyone will be putting on their bedroom wall as a poster, but this is exactly the sort of thing that carmakers should be building – Kia’s launching a wheelchair accessible version of its PV5 off the assembly line

Take a look at our Kia PV5 review

Land Rover

Range Rover Electric

Price: £130,000 / Range: 350 miles / On sale: Early 2026

It’s a big year for Land Rover as well as its sister brand Jaguar. The Range Rover is an icon, and those aren’t easy to refresh, but the signs look good for the wafty monster. Land Rover is so confident that it's nailed the electric Range Rover that it won't look any different to the rest of the models or carry any special badging. The one thing we're worried about is that the battery range might lag behind rivals – we're looking forward to giving the new car a good going over

Check out our electric Range Rover prototype drive

Range Rover Sport Electric

Price: £100,000 / Range: 350 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

The Sport will share its foundations with the electric Range Rover, but will carry less weight in its sleeker body. These Range Rover EVs will still need to do the business off-road though, will be interesting to drive

Range Rover Velar

Price: £75,000 / Range: 300 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Rumours suggest that the next-generation Velar might be a bit of a surprise compared with what’s gone before – more road focused and more upmarket. But not enough to step on Jaguar’s toes, you hope

Range Rover Evoque

Price: £50,000 / Range: 275 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Range Rover’s 2026 model storm finishes with the Evoque – probably as important a car as the electric Range Rover, because this baby SUV is the one that everyone will actually be buying

Leapmotor

B05

Price: £28,000 / Range: 260 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Now it gets interesting at Leapmotor – the B05 will be a competitively priced Astra-sized electric hatchback with a techy interior. A sensible purchase, but a car that’ll no doubt have a few established rivals quaking in their boots

Lexus

ES

Price: £50,000 / Range: 426 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Yes, it’s still going, eight generations in now, but set to be electric for the first time. This posh saloon will go up against the likes of BMW’s i4 or the Polestar 2, but armed with one of Lexus’s signature soothing interiors

LEVC

L380

Price: £75,000 / Range: 329 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Not content with the black cab market, LEVC is gunning for the private hire one too – could this swanky people carrier be taking you to the airport for your summer holiday in 2026? Will be on sale to civilians too, offering lots of seats and lots of space

Mercedes-AMG

GT XX

Price: £200,000 / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Late 2026

We’ve seen the concept version of Merc-AMG’s GT replacement, but it’ll look different when it goes on sale. The Polestar 5 rival will still be very fast and very high-tech though. And very expensive of course

Nissan

Juke EV

Price: £20,000 / Range: 160 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Nissan’s entry EV will be city focused and share some of its parts with the new Renault Twingo and next-generation Dacia Spring – but more spacious than the former and a bit more fancy than the latter. We hear that Nissan is promising a challenging design on the new Juke, though, which is music to our ears seeing how great the first generation car was

Omoda

4

Price: £30,000 / Range: 250 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Omoda’s small SUV (think Ford Puma/Hyundai Kona size) looks incredible with its angular design, and will get a suitably tech-stuffed interior (with giant touchscreen, naturally) to match. But is fatigue beginning to set in with the flurry of new brand launches in the UK? Carmakers like Omoda are going to have their work cut out to get through the noise

Porsche

Cayenne Electric

Price: £90,000 / Range: 373 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

We’ve already driven a prototype version of the Cayenne Electric and it was very accomplished despite not being finished. We know that Porsche has been getting cold feet on electric, so it'll be giving the existing car a facelift and keeping it on sale for a bit. Does look like the Range Rover EV will have a fight on its hands in 2026 though...

Read our prototype drive of the electric Cayenne

Boxster Electric

Price: £80,000 / Range: 325 miles / On sale: Late 2026

We’ve been waiting ages for the new electric Boxster, and it doesn’t look like it’s in a hurry to go on sale – it was supposed to have been with us already, but there have been unspecified delays in the car's development. Hopefully it’ll be quicker to drive than it's been getting to market – and fun, too. Porsche has certainly had enough time to get it right

Renault

Twingo

Price: £17,000 / Range: 163 miles / On sale: Late 2026

We’ve had a good glimpse of the retro new Twingo and we like what we’ve seen so far – still a bit of a wait until it actually goes on sale though. We’re not sure if we’re patient enough to wait that long…

Check out our first look at the Renault Twingo here

Rivian

R2

Price: £40,000 / Range: 300 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Rivian's R2 SUV does look massive to us, but it’s basically a supermini in the USA where it was designed and will be built. With its cartoonish looks it’ll certainly be a fun thing to drive about on UK roads, but you can't help but feel that Rivian is arriving on our shores a year or two too late...

Skoda

Epiq

Price: £25,000 / Range: 250 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Despite the silly spelling of its name, the new Epiq small SUV will be an eminently sensible purchase, with all of the nice little touches that Skoda likes to throw in. Perfect for first time EV purchasers, we reckon. The price will be kept nice and low thanks to it sharing its engineering with the Cupra Raval and Volkswagen ID.Cross

Eviatiq

Price: £65,000 / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Sorry Epiq, there’s a Skoda coming that has an even sillier (rumoured) name. What we do know is that Skoda is planning on bringing a ginormous seven-seat electric SUV to showrooms and people will probably love it – the Kodiaq is already a default choice for families in need of more seats, but sadly the PHEV version only has five seats because they needed to shove all those batteries in somewhere

Smart

#6

Price: £50,000 / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Smart’s getting a flagship model that will take it dangerously close to the territory of some very fancy badges, but we’re intrigued to see how this swoopy four-door saloon turns out

#2

Price: £25,000 / Range: 200 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Smart’s finally going back to its roots in 2026, with a teeny two-seat electric city car that just might recapture the glory days of the Fortwo. Even if it’s bad it’s better than walking, to be fair

Toyota

Hilux

Price: £50,000 / Range: 250 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

Gasp – Toyota’s launching an electric version of its Hilux pickup. Not too many electric pickups available on the UK market, but if anyone can nail the format it’ll be Toyota. 'Purists' can still buy boring combustion versions or a hydrogen fuel cell one if they're feeling particularly masochistic

Land Cruiser EV

Price: £90,000 / Range: 300 miles / On sale: Late 2026

Probably aimed more at Fulham than a UN peacekeeping zone, the new electric version of the Land Cruiser will be sold alongside the more rugged petrol and diesel versions – everyone’s happy

Volkswagen

ID.Polo

Price: £22,000 / Range: 280 miles / On sale: Early 2026

Another iconic nameplate goes electric – the Polo (formerly known as the ID.2) will be as sensible and easy to live with as its petrol forebears. Hot hatch enthusiasts will be looking forward to the GTI version that’s planned to arrive in 2027

ID.Cross

Price: £25,000 / Range: 260 miles / On sale: Mid 2026

The jacked up family oriented crossover version of the Polo will look distinct from its hatchback sibling, with a look that borrows from some of the larger SUVs in the Volkswagen range

Volvo

EX60

Price: £60,000 / Range: 400 miles / On sale: Late 2026

We’re strangely looking forward to the launch of this electric version of the XC60 SUV. Some of the cars in our list we've already had a glimpse of – sadly we won’t get a proper look at the EX60 until January, but it’s something to look forward to after Christmas.
