The Paris motor show takes place every two years and returns in 2026 from 12–18 October, with the press day on 12 October.

Here's everything we know is coming to the show, from brand new electric cars and concepts to the public debuts of EVs we’ve already heard a little about.

We'll be updating this story throughout the event with the latest reveals, pictures and details.

The biggest Paris motor show 2026 reveals

These are the new EVs and concept cars we’re most looking forward to seeing at the 2026 Paris motor show.

Citroen 2CV concept

Range: TBC
Battery: TBC
UK price: £13,000 (est)
UK launch: 2028

Can Citroen do a Renault and credibly update a retro icon with a modern look for sophisticated European tastes? Seems like a big ask, but then the new electric 2CV also promises to be really cheap, so there’s that.

Latest: Citroen teased the 2CV over the summer

Smart #2

Range: 185 miles
Battery: 35.7kWh
UK price: £20,000 (est)
UK launch: Mid-2027

Huge expensive electric SUVs are lovely and all, but there are proportionately more of us driving around in tiny cheap runabouts – and this is the king of the lot. We’re excited to finally see what Geely ownership can do for a proper Smart car.

Audi A2 e-tron

Range: Up to 397 miles
Battery: Up to 84kWh
UK price: from £32,200
UK launch: Early-2027

Everyone’s going retro all over the place, but the late-1990s probably doesn’t count unless you’re trying to make us feel really old. The new Audi A2 pays tribute to the original, but it isn’t quite as innovative.

Latest: We’ve already been to have a look at the new Audi A2

Renault 8 Gordini concept

Range: n/a
Charging: n/a
UK price: n/a
UK launch: n/a

Renault has no plans to put this concept car into production, so it had no business making the thing look this fun. The whole project stinks of trying to keep the design department entertained between SUVs, but we’re loving these retro looks.

Renault Trafic E-Tech

Range: Up to 292 miles
Battery: Up to 81kWh
UK price: From £34,500 (+VAT)
UK launch: Late-2026

Yes, a van, what of it? The Paris show will be our first chance to have a proper look at this fun new van that will be delivering your parcels from early in 2027. Between the likes of the Trafic and the Kia PV5 Cargo, electric vans are really having a moment.

Latest: Trafic you'll want to get stuck in

Every new car and concept coming to the Paris motor show

Alfa Romeo at Paris 2026

Alfa will be unveiling its Cuorerosso concept car ahead of the show, but we’re not even sure if it’s electric.

Alpine at Paris 2026

We were hoping to see the new A110 Electric at the show, but we’ll have to make do with a boring old sculpture that sort of looks like the new car instead. Alpine has also announced the reveal of its new PS1 (Projet Spécial 1) concept car at the show. It could be a seven-seat electric SUV.

Audi at Paris 2026

The new A2 e-tron will be making its public debut at this year’s Paris show, but otherwise it’s going to be a quiet event for Audi.

BYD at Paris 2026

We’ll get to see the Dolphin G PHEV supermini in public for the first time (well sort of, we've actually already driven it), as well as the new Atto 8 seven-seat plug-in SUV.

Citroen at Paris 2026

The new 2CV concept is one of the big cars we’re looking forward to seeing, but will Citroen have any other surprises up its sleeve?

Cupra at Paris 2026

I had to look this up twice because I thought that the Raval had been on sale for ages, but it’s actually appearing in Paris for its final appearance on the promotional circuit before deliveries start soon.

Dacia at Paris 2026

We’ll get to see the new Spring in public for the first time since the car was revealed (although Nicki has already had a good rummage round it) and Dacia is also revealing something called the Striker, but it’s not electric so it doesn’t count round these parts.

Denza at Paris 2026

The Z9GT and D9 will be headed to the UK as soon as Denza opens some dealerships in the country, but we’re excited to feast our eyes on the new Bao 5 off-roader.

DS at Paris 2026

The No7 SUV will be making its public debut at the Paris show, but we’ve actually already had a good look around it. DS is promising to unleash a bit of ‘Paris fever’ with its concept car for the show that promises a design reset and new sense of purpose from the Stellantis brand.

Fiat at Paris 2026

Two concept cars and the debut of the new Grizzly in SUV and coupe forms. I think this is the brand I’m most looking forward to seeing at the Paris show – especially if I get to sit in the new Tris again and pretend I live in the Tuscan countryside.

Geely at Paris 2026

Chinese carmaker Geely is revealing something called the Monjaro EM-i in Paris – it’s a plug-in SUV that doesn’t appear to be quite as light as its name would suggest.

Hyundai at Paris 2026

We’ve seen the global version of the new Tucson SUV and it looks very cool, but Paris will see the debut of the European-styled car that’s a little bit smaller for practicality reasons. It’s definitely getting a PHEV version, but probably not a full EV. Boo. Also of note is the new ST1 electric van that’s based on the Staria.

Leapmotor at Paris 2026

I’ve already had a bit of a look at the Leapmotors that are being revealed at the Paris show, but those were Chinese versions of the B03 supermini and gigantic D19. The B03 was still in disguise but the D19 was magnificently plush in the back.

Peugeot at Paris 2026

It’ll be nice to get a good look up close at the new E-208 GTI, but we’re also expecting to see a couple of concept cars from Peugeot, one of which could promise something of a design reset and a new sense of purpose from the Stellantis brand.

Renault at Paris 2026

There’s going to be the E-Space concept that we’ve already had teased, a Twingo with a funny little panoramic roof and the Trafic E-Tech van that I’m excited about personally but I’m not sure anyone else is. The facelifted Megane also makes its public debut here, so that’s nice, and there’s the 8 Gordini concept that’s just a bit of fun.

Skoda at Paris 2026

Even though it feels like they’ve been around forever, the Epiq (small electric crossover) and Peaq (big electric seven-seater) are both making their public production car debuts in Paris.

Smart at Paris 2026

Smart has probably saved a bit of money on its usual stands, because the new #2 is so much smaller than the rest of the usual range. If it leaves the SUVs at home it only needs tiny spot.

Vauxhall at Paris 2026

There’s a new GSE Line trim making its debut on the Astra, but Vauxhall is also unveiling the STX concept, which promises a design reset and a new sense of purpose from the Stellantis brand.

Volkswagen at Paris 2026

The Mission Efficiency concept is going to be shown in public for the first time. Just don’t mention Volkswagen’s other efficiency mission, which involves cutting everything back like a rabid gardener in autumn.

Volvo at Paris 2026

Another car that feels like it’s been around forever but still isn’t actually being delivered to anyone yet – the EX60 makes its proper public debut at the Paris motor show. Nice of Volvo to show up at this one, it doesn’t really like going to shows, which is a shame because the coffee on the stand was always top notch.

Other manufacturers at Paris 2026

Moke is revealing an upgraded version of its electric beach buggy thing, so that’s exciting.

We’re also expecting big reveals for some Chinese brands – Li Auto is making its European debut soon, Aito is going to be at the show, there’s GAC (its Aion brand will be revealing a new UK-bound EV) and Forthing hanging around somewhere too.

Lucid will be at the show, a nice reminder of all the cars the company is selling on the continent but not the UK.

I’m also going to head down to French carmaker ipop’s stand and check out its funny little lightweight two-seater thing.

What to expect from the Paris motor show 2026

What was interesting about the Brussels motor show at the beginning of 2026 was how comfortably the new Chinese brands had their feet under the table. Will the Paris show feel the same way?

The Stellantis brands are certainly throwing some punches with all the concept cars they’ll be unveiling, but little in the way of actual new product. The Chinese carmakers are also our best chance of a few surprises on press day.

I’m looking forward to seeing some MPV-style concepts and interesting interiors at the show – are designers and engineers finally starting to exploit the benefits of electric powertrains?

Arguably the main theme of the 2026 Paris motor show will be the arrival of the cheap small EV, which we can all agree is long overdue but unfortunately because of the tiny battery it had to stop and charge six times which is why it was late.
